The Daily Rat is a newsletter sold at New Mouse City. It is the rival of The Rodent's Gazette. The owner of the newsletter is Sally Ratmousen.

In the series, The Stilton describe The Daily Rat/Sally Ratmousen as "Tabloid Trash" due to their misinformation/false information in their newsletter to gain popularity and attention.
Tower Design[]
The Daily Rat is located in New Mouse City behind The Rodent's Gazette building, and the Tower is taller than the Rodent's Gazette building. The tower has a right triangle cheese on the left and right, It has a flower bed filled with bushes in front of the right triangle cheese, at the entrance there is a silver marquee and a mouse head on the front of it.
Interior Design[]
Sally's office is large with 8 pillars colored Olympic blue with some of them having cheese on the pillar, she has 2 TVs hanging on her wall mostly to show presentation or watching TV herself (previously facing front but was rearranged and was facing to Sally's desk), she has a pink desk with a Laptop, document books, name plate, pad, monitor and a telephone, (Items may change frequently with monitor changed into a curve pinkish transparent monitor and a new intercom has replaced the document books) a small desk appears near the edge of the office which could be an assistant desk, and a worldwide time zone clock can be found in the back of the wall. (Wall and pillar may change its color depending on its lighting).
